Project Title: Capturing Heterogeneity across many scales in Biosystems using Population Balance Modelling
Objectives: Produce a mathematical model describing the osteogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells (1) in a 3D culture, (2) by integrating cellular division with metabolism and gene expression, (3) while describing the process at 3 scales: the cell, the bead, and the reactor.
